As soon as you hit JHS 67, a whole new world opened, and a whole new neighborhood was at your disposal. Of course you were now allowed to cross Marathon Parkway or 61 st ave. Remember walking home from the YMHA at night by yourselves? NO FEAR? Would you let your kids do that?. ( and yes, people did live in real houses......one family per house.)
the very first reunion... 1985 at Sharon Wald's house. I guess you can say that it sparked all of this.

THE VERY FIRST REUNION : NEW YEARS EVE: 1985 > Dean Lesser, Dawn Kopman, Sharon Wald got together and started to call friends from P.S. 221. BY THE END OF THE NIGHT 20 SOME ODD, OLD FRIENDS BRAVED THE ICE, SNOW AND SLEET AND MET TO REMINICE. WHICH SPARKED THIS WHOLE FANTASTIC SITE.
